MARKETING, DESIGN AND RESEARCH INTERN
COMPANY DESCRIPTION: FanFuego.com is a fast-growing social network geared toward sports, connecting professional athletes with passionate sports fans. INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTION (Internship may include, but is not limited to, the following projects):
- Assist VP Marketing in responding to client’s needs and client-related projects, including web programs and services, special events, and marketing and PR opportunities
- Work with Company personnel in implementing team, league and athlete content on the website
- Assist in implementation of video and media strategies on the website
- Track client information and statistics from week to week
- Update articles, interviews, videos, pictures, and headlines on the website
- Conceptualize and potentially write stories related to clients on site
- Create and implement viral PR strategies
- Work with company team on day-to-day tasks and various new marketing endeavors
This Position Requires:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Telephone and interpersonal skills
- Strong competency in using internet sites and search engines
- Strong research skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility, creativity, and a desire to learn
Please let us know if you have specific experience in the following:
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/IE/etc) experience
- Journalism (writing and editing) related skills
Fan Fuego’s Summer Internship begins in May and runs through September. The internship is unpaid and part-time, but based on past internships it will provide an excellent experience. Schedule can be designed to work around the intern’s class schedule.
Applicants are typically college juniors and seniors in good academic standing.
