I agree, it is very nice to see someone that makes an enourmous amount realize that things must change in these times. He is one of the few people in the public eye that seem to realize that he can survive on 10 million just as easily as he can on 12 or whatever he had, unlike that weasel Selig. I just wish all the CEOs and athletes making millions while the people making them that money get laid off would follow his great example. I think Obama should make it so that every person making over 10 million while their company is laying people off should be required to take a pay cut or take all the money after the initial 10 million. Think of how many jobs this would save! 3 million dollars can employ 30 people at $100,000 a year, or 60 at $50,000! Right now, people would kill for a job like that. Props to Goodell for being a great role model in a tough time.

Now, we don't want you to feel too bad for ole' Roger, who voluntarily took a c...

- Steve Lavey blogged Hot New Ride for Edgerrin
I just got wind of this story and it just goes to show how big NFL guys think the Super Bowl really is. Edgerrin James of the Arizona Cards figured he needed some wheels for Super Bowl week to cruise around Tampa. Most people would go out and rent a car but not EJ -- The running back special ordered a brand new Lamborghini, silver exterior with crushed red velvet interior, the color of his ...

Michigan coach Rich Rodriguez planned to search for his defensive coordinator to replace Scott Shafer, who resigned in early December. Apparently it didn’t require much effort. New U-M defensive coordinator Greg Robinson said Saturday before U-M’s basketball game that he sought out Rodriguez. The Detroit Free Press writes:
